My name is Peter DeComo from Portsmouth and I’ve had the pleasure of working with Bruno Painting on numerous occasions over the last 8 years. All the work performed by Bruno painting was high quality.
They performed 3 different types painting jobs at 3 different properties, all with outstanding results. They did some interior and exterior painting to prep a family home for sale. They painted a few rooms at another rental property. And they helped transform my finished basement from a dark, unused space to a bright and frequently used family space.
All those projects were completed on time and within budget. The plan for each project was explained in detail and those expectations were met each time. In addition, the work was performed by experienced professionals, like Johnny Jemo, who answered questions and offered suggestions along the way. The work spaces were maintained in a clean and organized fashion throughout.
I have also used some of Bruno Paintings other services, like annual gutter cleaning and experienced the same outstanding results. The owner, Rick, even sent a guy over on short notice just ahead of one of the recent storms to clear out some debris that had accumulated in the gutters.
In summary, my experience with Bruno Painting has been outstanding and I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to family and friends. There is comfort is choosing a local company that is responsive and stands behind their work and that’s a tribute to the owner/management.

We’ve hired Bruno Painting twice for exterior carpentry and painting. We appreciate their attention to detail and the meticulous job that they do. We also appreciate the open line of communication, and the walk through of the job when finished. We have recommended Bruno Painting to neighbors and friends.
My wife and I needed to have a fair amount of touch up painting of the exterior clapboard on our recently purchased home. There was moisture blistering. John came over from Bruno and performed a thorough visual inspection, followed by another close-up inspection of all sides/floors. We agreed to the estimate which was followed by three days of meticulous sanding and repainting. Excellent work. A small interior wall be also painted, again meticulous work.
Finally, we had our two car garage painted with two part epoxy paint. Though the results looked terrific, about a month later, the epoxy under where the tires rest when parked began to fleck off. John came over to inspect. Without hesitation, he said he would fix it, which, he said, might require repainting the entire floor. Quite extraordinary quality assurance.
We see Bruno Painters signs all over town, a strong indicator of quality.

I am so impressed with the quality of work and level of professionalism that I have seen from Bruno Painting that I am writing this letter unsolicited by them. I hired Bruno Painting on the recommendation of another painting company who I have used in the past but was unavailable to do this work. Rick, the owner, returned my first call and was responsive throughout the project. When the crew arrived to begin work it was on the date they had estimated. My wife works from home so the crew manager updated us daily on where they would be working and what they would be doing. They started at the same time every day, worked all day and had adequate crew to get the work done. Every employee that I interacted with was hard working and respectful. Each day the work area was broken down and cleaned up with the equipment stored out of our way. They were even careful with our landscaping and the copper work on the house.
Most importantly the work that Bruno Painting did was stellar. They cut no corners on the tedious preparation work of filling and sanding and applied as many coats of primer and finish as were needed to make the house look perfect. I was away when the work was completed and had left the final payment with my wife but Rick Bruno would not take the final payment until I had seen the work and was satisfied. I build and renovate restaurants in my work and have seen dozens of painting crews over the years. The quality and professionalism of the Bruno Painting Company is as good as the best if not better. I highly recommend that you use them for your painting project.
